I watched Using Technology for Vocabulary Development, Reading Comprehension, and Word Identification video.
The book Left-handed Shortstop was used in a classroom. The teachers team taught. They used technology to help the children with their reading comperhension. They set the rules at the beginning of the unit.
The class had a class website that the students used. They also used a graphic story structure.
I liked the using the class website for questions on the book they were reading. I also liked the questioning they used. There were three types of questions 1. Right there 2. Think and Research 3. On my own. I am going to use those in my classroom with the next novel I read.
