Podcasting is one thing that I would love to use and really haven't found a great way to use it in my classroom. I would like the students doing a podcast, but I haven't found an assignment that really fits. I tried a podcast with review questions for a test. The students seemed to like that. I want to do another review with a podcast, but still haven't worked that out in my head.
I haven't figured out if I like Twitter or not. I think it would be great for the Youth Group at church so the parents can follow what we are doing when we go to Chicago this summer. I'm not sure all the parents will be willing to get a Twitter account just to hear that the kids are in the Sears (Willis) Tower. It would be nice to Tweet reminders of projects due and special events coming up with the fourth grade students.

I think podcasting would be a good tool to use when students are creating some kind of project that employs direction giving or advertising. It would also be good for foreign langauge.
I'm not sure if I could use Twitter in the classroom, either. I think it is a useful tool to be aware of, though. It might be possible to combine Twitter with other technology tools in order to make it useful for education.
