I teach 4th graders at Peace Lutheran. The class I have this year is very creative and eager to do. I am excited to be learning all these new programs. (Shhhh! Don't tell anyone that they also terrify me.) I showed my students what my group did last night in class. They thought it was cool. I split them into groups and now they are working on a script for their own voice thread. We are doing "A Day in the Life of a 4th grader" They all have fictional students, they all had to pick which day they will be doing. Because if you pick Tuesday, then their student will have PE, but if they picked Friday, their student will be going to chapel. They also are going to be taking pictures for this.
I am going to upload them to a special Flickr account that I am going to create just for them. I also talked to the school's tech. coordinator and he gave me microphones that I can use to record the students. I still haven't worked out all the knots. I don't know when the kiddos are going to record their voices. I also don't know when we are going to upload the photos. I will be looking at those things in a bit. The Tech Guy is also going to be looking at how the parents will be able to access these. He is going to look at the site and decide what would be best. (he is the one who knows our website the best)
The children are very thrilled with this. I looked over the beginning of their scripts, they look really good. I can't wait to see the finished project.
